Dr. Lorena Frontado

Hi, I'm Dr. Lorena Frontado, and I'm excited to care for your family! I earned my medical degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela and later completed a residency in Nuclear Medicine in Valencia, Spain. Even though I enjoyed my training, I realized my true passion was working with children and families, which led me to complete my pediatric residency at Holtz Children's Hospital in Miami in 2021. Since then, I've had the privilege of caring for many wonderful families in our community. One of my favorite parts of pediatrics is building long-term relationships and watching my patients grow from newborns into teenagers and young adults. I believe in supporting families through every stage of childhood, not only physically but emotionally as well. I recently became certified as a breastfeeding expert so I can better support parents and babies during those important early months. I also have a special interest in mental and behavioral health, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD, and I enjoy helping children and families navigate these challenges with understanding and compassion. When I'm not in the office, I love spending time with my husband and our three kids, going to the beach, riding my bike, and enjoying family time together. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your child's healthcare journey!
